For the new motion picture BRIDGE OF SPIES, directed by Steven Spielberg, we transformed from October to December 2014 several locations in Berlin and Breslau into frosty winter landscapes. We used our artificial paper snow varieties Frost Powder and Snow Base. The artificail snowfall has been created by using our dry foam snow machines and SnowSticks.

KITZ - Netflix drama series

KITZ - Netflix drama series

The drama series "KITZ" creates a wintry atmosphere with its numerous snow scenes. Many of these snow motifs were realistically realised with our Snow Base and Movie Snow paper snow types, and our snow candles were used for falling snow.

In the German TV movie "Wenn das fünfte Lichtlein brennt" mainly our paper/cellulose artificial snow types were used and transformed the Airport Münster/Osnabrück into a realistic winter scene. The Christmas film was produced by Bantry Bay for ARD/Das Erste in winter 2020.

We worked with various snow effects for the TV fairy tale film “The Fairy Tale of 12 Months”. Our paper snow products and our dry foam fluid were used, among other things. In this second film "Pettersson & Findus: The most beautiful Christmas ever", based on the bestselling book by children’s author Sven Nordqvist, we created ice effects, snow landscapes, a snow storm and we built a snowman in the studio. We used some of our plastic snow varieties, such as the Display Snow in various grain sizes and falling snow was created using SnowFall.

The artificial snowfall was created using our dry foam snow machines.

For the psycho-horror film "A cure for wellness" with Dane DeHaan and Jason Isaacs, we created pollen flight at the castle Hohenzollern near Tübingen. Our Snow Sticks were used for this purpose. Directed by Oscar-winning Gore Verbinski. Year of production: 2015.

We have covered parts of Berlin with fake snow for up to two month during filming for this Hollywood blockbuster.

For the blockbuster movie Alien vs. Predator we covered different film sets in Prague with artificial snow and artificial ice over a period of several months. For the tragic comedy "Mama is no longer" with Mariele Millowitsch and Mina Tander we created snow and frost effects. Our artificial snow Frost Powder, a cellulose dust, our snow fleece and our Glitter Snow were used. Production: Wiedemann and Berg. Director: Vivan Naefe. Year of production: 2015.

Grand Paradiso was one of the first films for which we created the artificial winter effects. With Glitter Snow, Movie Snow and Ice Ultra the frost and snow effects were realized. The film was produced by Letterbox Filmproduktion GmbH, directed by Miguel Alexandre, in a studio in Hamburg, 1999.

The full extent of our ability with artificial snow and ice effects was demonstrated during the filming of the 2002 production by Roland Emmerich. Snow storms, a completely â€šfrozenâ€˜ library and vast areas of fake snow posed no problems for us.
